The Cycle Route along the Waldviertel narrow-gauge railroad

The trail leads from Gr. Gerungs and Langschlag over Nonndorf, Steinbach, St. Martin to Weitra. From Weitra on it leads along the scenic riverside road to the old textile factory, further on to Unserfrau (means “our woman”), Unterlembach, Wielands and Ehrendorf to the terminal raiload station at Gmünd. Where there is a train connection to Vienna and Prague. The bike path especially appeals to families with children and to casual cyclists. The route runs exclusively on paved, low-traffic country roads and agricultural roads
