Weitra Bräu

Since 2003, the city's commercial brewery “Weitra Bräu” is run by a brewers' family from the nearby town of Zwettl. Karl Schwarz and his team produce two types of beer at Weitra: Hadmar beer brewed out of materials from organic farming, and Weitraer beer.
