Churches

During your visit to Weitra you have the opportunity to visit the parish church with the “Keuffel's Chapel” and the downtown civic hospital church. Not far from Weitra, in the villages Spital and Sankt Wolfgang, there are two ancient interesting churches. In Sankt Wolfgang, the impressively large pilgrimage church of St. Wolfgang was built and consecrated. The Romanesque-Gothic church in Spital is one of the art-historical jewels of the region.
