Our tour begins at the city gate, where, after the roundabout, we take the second exit toward Veitsgraben, which leads us under a narrow-gauge railroad viaduct toward Spital. Here we turn right, and in the town center we turn left toward Oberwindhag. We’ll reach Walterschlag via a farm road, where we’ll continue on to Sulz and St. Martin. Here, you can take another break at Gasthaus Weninger before we head to Roßbruck and bike back to Weitra along the Lainsitz River.
Coming from St. Pölten, take the S33 to Krems, then the B37 and B38 to Zwettl, and continue via Jagenbach to Weitra.
Coming from Vienna, take the A22 to the Stockerau interchange, then the S5 to Krems, followed by the B37 and B38 to Zwettl, and continue via Jagenbach to Weitra.
Coming from the west, take the A1 to the A7 exit, continue on the A7 to Unterweitersdorf—take the S10 to the Sandl exit—follow the B38 to Karlstift, then take the B41 and continue to Weitra.
