St. Martin - Steinbach - Bad Großpertholz - Angelbach - Althütten - Maißen - Roßbruck - St. Martin
From Sankt Martin, the tour follows the Lainsitz River and the narrow-gauge railroad to Steinbach. There, we cross the B41 and follow a meadow path to Breitenberg. Along the way, you can also visit the paper mill. Before reaching Harmanschlag, we turn off toward a sawmill and ride along the factory canal back to Friedental, where the climb up to Nebelstein begins. Once we arrive at “Althütten,” the final climb on the paved road leads to a right turn toward Maissen. Here, you can continue biking left toward the parking lot, where it’s permitted to pedal up to the Alpine Club hut. The tour then continues via Maissen toward Rossbruck, where we take a sharp right turn and return to the starting point via the “Untere Zeil.”
From St. Pölten, take the S33 to Krems, then the B37 and B38 to Zwettl, continue on the B119 to Weitra, then take the B41 to St. Martin.
From Vienna, take the A22 and S5 to Krems, then the B37 and B38 to Zwettl, continue on the B119 to Weitra, then take the B41 to St. Martin.
Coming from the west toward Linz—take the A7 to Unterweitersdorf—then take the S10 to the Sandl exit—follow the B38 to Karlstift—then take the B41 to St. Martin.
