Cycling along the Oberlainsitz, you’ll follow the Waldviertelbahn railway line, where you’ll keep to the left and take a meadow path to the old “Hammerschmiede” in Mühlbach. Once there, follow the road to Sulz and the pilgrimage site of St. Wolfgang. At the edge of town, we turn left off the main road and ride through the fields toward Langfeld. Crossing the Waldviertelbahn tracks, we descend into Langfeld, from where we cycle back to St. Martin along the Lainsitz River.
From St. Pölten, take the S33 to Krems, then the B37 and B38 to Zwettl, continue on the B119 to Weitra, then take the B41 to St. Martin.
From Vienna, take the A22 and S5 to Krems, then the B37 and B38 to Zwettl, continue on the B119 to Weitra, then take the B41 to St. Martin.
Coming from the west toward Linz—take the A7 to Unterweitersdorf—then take the S10 to the Sandl exit—follow the B38 to Karlstift—then take the B41 to St. Martin.
